I'd say it's more of a "normal film", kind of like an after school TV special for kids with artistic Table Tennis lighting and visuals.

Too much for the crying smash, diappearing curve and shotgun serve. They need to get a grip and produce some more realistic move.

I did enjoy seeing the spinning ball that slashed the guys face and drew blood.  That was the first time I saw that in a match.

Realistic or not, I found it entertaining.

There are Chinese subtitles.  I guess that's for the non-Mandarin speaking Chinese.

OMG! I downloaded the intro, it's like 15mb for it..........the most corniest thing I've ever seen.  People who designed this really want to beat the Ping Pong the dvd of 2002, by using Donic.  No matter how many people who try creating a cool Ping Pong movie, the original 2002 movie version will always be at it's best.  Because there is no intro, there is a plot that leads to an intro, and that makes the movie for fascinating and you can never find a tokyo cop who told the Peco that he can fly.

It's a taiwanese series, only taiwanese producers can produce this type of crap... even though i think that Tammy Chen Yi Rong in there is pretty cute, i've always liked her acting... hehe

you must understand these tv shows are not made for the table tennis fanatic, but more for people who enjoy a soap. There are more people who would care for a good plot and story and pretty actors, rather then realistic table tennis. Most of us however would probably like to see some beter table tennis
