I finally was able to test the V3.   The blade is heavy @ 98 grams and you could feel the weight in your hand, but it did feel like it was reasonably balanced.  For the test tonight I put on Sriver G2 and Mark V, both treated with CTE ~ 2 weeks ago.  I decided to use these rubbers, so I could compare it to the Amultart that they were previously on and I didn't want to use the new 999 special edition rubbers.
I liked the control, close or away from the table, there was some vibration, but not significant.  The control was excellent, the speed felt close to the Amultart (Amultart has more vibration), but I wouldn't rate it as Off ++, call it Off+.  Overall hitting with the blade was nice, I could loop well and control the placement very well.
If you like a heavy blade that has a large sweet spot, minimal vibration (some present), good control and power, than this is a good purchase, but to play long matches with, it is too heavy for me.  The finish on the blade and handle could be better, but not too bad.  I have never used a Xiom, so it is hard to say if they could be brothers or not.

I agree - the decision on whether these blades are really Xiom clones is going to be a tough one.

For one, I still have no clue (after having played with V-6 three times for about half hour altogether) whether it is indeed a Stradivarius clone or not...

As for V-3 it's even difficult to try and say which Xiom blade this one is supposed to be mimicking.
