| its outer ply is the same as original extra but inner plies are totaly different. look like softer than original extra... so maybe its a softer but thicker extra? |

outer ply is cherry or something mid hard. there is a bass wood(soft) and thin dark very hard wood and than thick bass wood on the center. thats my guess...

I played with it for a while with DHS Hurricane 3 (FH) and BTY Sriver FX (BH). I personally like it a lot, it is better than Stiga Offensive Classics, faster but with better control and feeling. both are right because wood is a natural product. Example: Stiga Energy Wood Master 80g (lightest version) and 95g (heaviest version). anyone can tell me the difference between Yasaka Gatien Extra 7 and Yasaka Gatien Max Wood? I want to buy one of them but Yasaka blades are dead here and i cant get a test blade  .
