its outer ply is the same as original extra but inner plies are totaly different. look like softer than original extra... so maybe its a softer but thicker extra?

outer ply is cherry or something mid hard. there is a  bass wood(soft) and thin dark very hard wood and than thick bass wood on the center. thats my guess...

I'll change my blade and would like to purchase this blade. It seems to me that is excellent blade. Control must be good since it has large sweet-spot. I think so. :)

I played with it for a while with DHS Hurricane 3 (FH) and BTY Sriver FX (BH).  I personally like it a lot, it is better than Stiga Offensive Classics, faster but with better control and feeling.  Highly recommended for people who like pure wood blade.

I distrust of it weight only. About control I've no doubt...

I've found on miscellaneous sites differ information. Megaspin.net: weight 93 gramm. Yasaka.fr: weight 80 gramm. Who tells lies?

both are right because wood is a natural product. Example: Stiga Energy Wood Master 80g (lightest version) and 95g (heaviest version). Only solution is to use a scale and weight the blades at your local TT-dealer or demand a specific weight blade when you use online-shops.

I weighed one at a local shop: 96g! For penhold, I would advise against using it for RPB.
