Subject: Korbel Speed Review

I will make it short. It's faster, harder, and heavier than the Petr Korbel. Is it better? Well, it depends on how you looking at it. Here are my thought:
1. Faster - I like this characteristic of the blade since we don't use speed glue anymore. The throw is lower than the Petr Korbel. So, this one is better for mid-distance game than the Petr Korbel.
2. Harder - Because of its hardness, you should to use soft rubbers with this blade. It's really good with my pips (Flarestorm). It's has more power than Flarestorm on T5000.
3. Heavier - This is the bad side of this blade. It weighs 93.3 grams. The head is heavy. So, for forehand power-loop is good. It is also good for counter looping at mid-distance. However, the backhand flat hit with the wrist is not an ideal blade. I don't think I will play with this blade because of this reasons.
Sorry, I am too lazy right now to write a long, detailed, well-organized review. I am just too tired from the practice tonight.

Hmm, the surface is Koto not Limba, so it's not a thicker version of korbel

Did you get a heavy blade, Butterfly lists the weight as 82 grams:
faq_Speed.asp#speed - Speed : 8.2 faq_Control.asp#control - Control : 7.6 faq_Feel.asp#feel - Feel : Medium Weight: 82g
------------- Gave up listing, too many changes.
Blade - Yes
BH - Rubber Red
FH - Rubber Black

I found on butterflyonline.com that it weigh only 82gr! Your Korbel Speed may be overweight?

I think it is light with weight 82gr!

They have been driving the customers away and still do. There is only one guy from my club used to order from butterflyonline but he also finally stops. I don't know if anyone still orders from them.

i`ve this blade since february.
you can see mine on pictures of your blades threads.
i`m using inspirit on forehand and IQUL on backhand side.
but i`m decided to try IQUL both sides.
so maybe this weight is just good for me.

Butterfly products are always expensive. However, some Asian countries sell their products much cheaper (compared to BTYonline). They are real though. Some speculate that those are QC-passed products (still excellent) but not visually as beautiful as the ones sent to the US or Europe. I don't know about this. Or my guess is they are priced lower to match the buying power of customer. If that is true, man, imagine their profit margin !!!

This is true with packaging... I don't know if the blade quality are the same... I can't confirm that... but I feel like the ones I got from ButterflyOnline are much more solid and nicer than the one I got from Dandoy.
