TORONTO SUPER TABLE TENNIS LEAGUE, COMMITTEE

OUR MANDATE:

Enhance the image of table tennis and stimulate spectator interest by "showing off" the skills of Toronto's best players in team competition, at venues across the greater Toronto area. Provide players with the opportunity to compete at the highest possible level.

OUR VISION:

An annual team competition taking place during the period April 15th to June 30th, comprising the best players in the greater Toronto area as established by the Canadian Table Tennis Association ratings on February 1st of that year.

Matches held at the best table tennis venues within the greater Toronto area. "Best" will be decided based on the condition of tables, floor, lighting and spectator accommodations.

Teams sponsored by local businesses providing cash and other forms of prizes. Recognition in press bulletins and advertisements on team clothing will serve as incentives to local businesses.

A "title" sponsor to lend their name to this annual competition, providing prizes, publicity and credibility to table tennis as a serious sport.

OUR ORGANIZATION:

A dedicated group of individuals, working through the Ontario Table Tennis Association, to help promote table tennis in the GTA by organizing an annual Super Table Tennis League.

This committee will be totally responsible for running the league but the OTTA will be the custodian of all funds collected.
