There was a forum member whose son got a whole bunch of Tibhar rubbers for a sponsorship, including MX-S. If i recall correctly the father liked MX-S better, but decided to use MX-P because MX-S was not for sale at the time.

I'm just worried it will be very expensive.

I have a hunch the new Donic Acuda P series are the same as Andro's Rasant (power)Grip line.

The analogy seems quite straightfroward based on the hardness info on the Andros:

Rasant Powergrip is 50 degrees and so is the coming P1.
Rasant Grip is 45 and P2 is too.

P3 is the softest and it may correspond to the Powersponge.

From what I've read, MX-S is the spin-orientated Evolution line.  Not as fast as MX-P (no slouch though) but higher throw and more reliable grip.  So a modification for plastic, essentially.  Sounds perfect to me.

Tibhar said they will send me a few mx-s rubbers once they get hold of their stocks. I will be receving my Adidas Protec D20 and D30 blades in 2 weeks time so I am so excited! Srping time and summer time are the days when a lot of new rubbers and blades would come out!

Any news on where they came from?  The language barrier is a bit tricky with these smaller german webshops.

This I may try.  I almost never buy equipment without trying it first, but for this I may make an exception.

It's had some very favorable reviews on the German sites over the past week.  I suppose you have to accept a bit of Google translate-related hype error from me.  I'd really like to get my hands on a sheet though...

And ordered! Expect a dodgy review thread in the near future.

As it is 50 deg, my guess is that it is nothing but unboosted or 'more raw' MX-P. I highly recommend trying out Rakza X as well (another 50 deg sheet).

MX-S and RXS sound interesting, although I won't switch to the plastic balls soon (at these prices, quality and durability issues).

Regarding new ball transition, check the results of the poll at one of the greatest TT forums:

Some interesting stuff on the LARC, as ever.  I'm hesitant to put anything in the list that doesn't have an obvious example of packaging though.  Sometimes the LARC stuff never actually appears on the market.

Xiom also has Vega SPO, Vega LPO, Musa III, and Omega IIx.  Pips out versions of Vega?  I can see a SP, but a LP Vega sounds a bit odd to me.

For the first shop i cannot say anything since i ve never ordered at them.
The second shop is the shop whose owner is running the biggest german Forum so it is definitly safe to order there...

I ordered my MX-S from tt-shop.net and it arrived this morning.  No problems - Matthias got in touch via email and speaks excellent English, which was a great help to a one-language idiot like me!

Yes Dandoy did have them in stock now, but when I placed the order it was back order for 7-8 days and after couple days it shows in stock, so I placed another order for just the MX-S rubbers as I had some friends who also wanted to try this new rubber and with this great deal with buy 3 get 1 free deal on the MX-S rubbers.  So I bought more then 200 euros and also used the discount coupon for over 200 euro's and got additional 20% discount, I was really happy, but after couple days has passed, not only it was not shipped out, got a email from Dandoy saying there was a bug on their system and will not honour the extra 20% discount and also the rubbers they don't have enough in stock and will go on back order for 7-8 days.  So have to Cancel the order as they are asking me to pay the differences.  Unlike Butterflyonline last time they would honour their sales.  Oh well Cry

I initially ordered my MX-S from contra on the first day they have it on their website, I ordered 10 so that i can taken advantage of the bulk discount, so thinking that ordering on the first day I would have their stock and be one of the earlier customer to have the rubber.

Unfortunately after 8 days there are still no update on the shipping, I have to call them in Germany and found out they don't have stock, which I can't believe it because I ordered mine as soon as they post it online. I don't know if they are holding it for local buyers or not, but they can't ship my order until next week (13th or 14th). So I told the operator to cancel my order as it's way too long (and I know dandoy has the rubber in stock already). And guess what, after 10 minutes, they email me back saying they have the rubber to ship out all a sudden, and ask me if I still want to cancel the order. I didn't keep their order as I've made my order from dandoy, which they shipped it on the same day that I made the order.

Now I just need to wait for package :-)

It might be different though considering the outer ply in cca is limba instead of koto in TBALC. Inner plies could be different too.
