Hi all! I'm going to turn a 2-car garage into a table tennis room (I live in CA, USA). The concrete floor is slightly tilted, which is probably required by city code for proper water draining. As an EJ, I think I'll be very much bothered by this... Is there any cost effective solution for creating a level ground on top of the concrete, other than redoing the concrete (which violates city code)? Thanks! Qiqi

Start, what type of TT flooring are you going to use then put some kind of pad leveler. Go to Costco and buy that garage flooring (black and white rubber tile look like chess board). Affordable $99 for 1 box(48 sq ft). 2 car-garage might needs 4 to 8 boxes. If you play mid table and close table, i think you're ok. Unless you play long range and run like Ma Long then these rubbers can't handle it. But i don't think you can play like that in a garage, won't you ? Hope it helps bro ! ------------- if Life is short, play Ping Pong to make it longer :P |
