==================================
Great observation, Wang Chuqin (blue shirt) is only 15 years-old - your guess is mighty close.
He was born on 5-11-2000 (got this information from 2014 Argentina Open)
He was CNT-B team trainee about a year ago, don't know his status now.
Wang Chuqin has very powerful BH, but lack accuracy. He has lots of room to improve.
(Zheng Peifeng, DB: 3-28-1996 - that makes him 19 years old. One year ago, he was in CNT-A team.)
------------------------- (Following info is 1 year old, may be outdated.) Men's Team – 2 (Team B) Lyu Xiang, Zhou Qihao, Yu Ziyang,
Lai Jiaxin, Li Yuanheng, Zhao Zihao, Fang Yinchi, Zhou Kai, Wu Jiaji, Wei
Shihao, Liu Dingshuo, Yan Minghui, Xue Fei,
Li Xiang, Zhu Cheng, Li Mo, Geng Zihao, Zhang Fuzhou, Chen Xin
(Trainee: Li Zhuoming, Wang Chuqin)

THE NEWER THE BETTER...
ITTF was very annoyed with the early plastic poor quality. Hence, all the manufacturers have now improved the plastic formula remarcably as compared to the 2014. So I would only commend the newer plastic of 2015 to purchase. DHS of 2015 batches is much superior to those of 2014.

I always thought Zheng Peifeng is the next penholder after Xu Xin but it seems Fan Shengpeng has already surpassed him as the second man. Great penhold battle.
I have the same gangster feeling about the new outfit when I first saw them. But they seems quite fashionable after watching a few games.

He has the best RPB outside of WH. Maybe better since it has had a chance to evolve. Better than XX in my opinion.

Yes, I agree with you. His RPB is truly excellent in all technical aspects.
And unlike Wong Chun Ting, Zhao Zihao has a great forehand too. Not as good as Xu Xin but good enough.
This is a pretty good angle to see the technique...
He came from match point down against Zhang Jike here. Zhao Zihao is mentally strong too.

Well I think his FH is different. He does not back up nearly as much as XX, which is needed for XX's FH, which mean more CHs and short stroke FHs. He stays at the table and does more counter driving then out right looping. I think the quality of shot is similar just different shots because of where they like to play from. I agree 100% about his mental game.

Surprised that Fan Shengpeng could give problems to Dimitrij Ovtcharov.
On World Stage, Fan is nobody while Dima is consistently in top 10.
Don't forget that Fan Shengpeng barely have the possibilities to express himself in international tournaments...
Look at the young Wang Chuqin who demolished Ovcharov.......and all these players who I haven't heard anything about and who are able to defeat Fang Bo, Hao Shuai, Chuan Chi Yuan.......
If you are not among the 5 or 6 "best" Chinese players...no possibilities to play outside China and if you have, by luck, 1 chance, you have so much pressure on your shoulders because you know it is your only chance....
If Fan Shengpeng becomes Austrian or Hungarian....and plays in all tournaments, no doubt he will be in the top 10.

Update: Found that match video where the young player Wang Chuqin beat Dima. Wang won but I wouldn't call it that he demolished Dima.
Very impressive play by Wang Chuqin.
Wang Chuqin is very young, may be 17 years old. Very powerful BH. He lacks accuracy in his attacks, if he improves on that - he could be in top 50. (Dima is inside top 10 for quite a while, yet Wang beat Dima.)

@ Bran:
The quality varies, some videos of 2015 they have even better quality than 2014s, but many/most of them they have lower... The main reason is that CCTV5/CCTV5+ (best quality) is now streaming fewer cttsl-videos than 2014 . . .
