Hello.
There are some reviews of Vega blades, but has anybody tried the Omega blades? They are 7-layer all-wood blades.
I'm interested in Omega Tour and Pro. Tour has Ebony top layer (overall 4 Ebony layers), Pro has Rosewood top layer.

According to this, Tour should be a bit slower, but with more dwell time than Pro. (Capturing +4)

If nobody tried them, can you tell me if Rosewood and Ebony are hard woods? If yes, how can they have big dwell time?

Thanks, but the username has nothing to do with table tennis, I've already had it when I started playing TT. :)

my opinion is that Tour is usually better than Pro in overall attacking style performance be it rubber or blade.

Vega line of blades received more attention.

Truthfully I cant blame people for not giving much attention to the omega blade lineup. Naming can be very very confusing.

I know Vega line is more popular, because it has carbon fiber, Omega is just pure wood.
I guess I have to buy it and try myself...

I don't know why such huge companies like xiom don't do like tibhar and butterfly and use dan to make a review, silly marketing strategy.
Now to answer about ebony and rosewood, i tried stigas before they are hard as bricks no dwell no spin harder than shlager carbon.
