Hello there!

Can you guys tell me something, imagine you wanna test a rubber on a new blade, is it necessary to remove the old glue from the rubber before applying the new glue or is it ok to leave the old glue?

I ask this, because a friend of mine told me he doesn't remove the old glue when he's changing setups, which I think it is wrong, right?

Thanks for your answers!

it depends on glue thickness and whether it's even/uneven. ^just what he said

Agreed. Glue on rubber can add 2-4g to the overall bat weight.
But removing glue can be tricky as it does sometimes take out pieces of sponge.
