| Does the 388d-1 or neptune provide more reversal assuming theyre both ox and are on the same blade? What other cheap ox long pips provide the same or more reversal than the 388d-1 or neptune? |

Problem is, that site is a load of crap! Good for very general ratings, but going from #15 to #18 on there is more than wishy washy! The 388D-1 is fairly spinny, along with neptune. Look how Zhou Xintong abuses her 388d-1 rubbers... top spin, back spin, side spin, you name it spin! I don't either are that great for a passive game relying on reversal/deception. They'll work there... but other pips are much better. These are more all-around sort of weapons.

There is a quattro version of 388d1 that has less friction than the regular. The regular is maybe the grippiest long pip I have. Neptune has a drier feeling, but I think the pip may be a little wider and shorter too. ------------- Wavestone St with Illumina 1.9r, defender1.7b Please let me know if I can be of assistance. |
