I have two blades from the same maker. They are both excellent blades. One is Hinoki/T5000 and one is Hinoki/ALC. I've been eyeing some of the other blades he put up for sale recently. Could you kindly tell me a little about how the 1ply Hinoki blade plays? I've never tried a single ply blade before. Any info you could give me would be appreciated. Ouch, beautifull blades but ...110gr, you must be a very strong guy :)) I wonder what is the total weight with both rubbers...should be near 195-200gr. Regarding 1ply hinoki blades, the kind of cypress used is very important for the speed, control....There is cypress from Japan but also from other countries and it has an impact. Also, red or yellow cypress, old and younger cypress. I did see that he has some single ply hinoki blades that are around 95 grams or so. That weight wouldn't bother me at all. You're right, 110 is getting a bit heavy.
