Hi everyone,
Does anyone know of any videos which show a pro demostrating the technique of playing with pips on the backhand and forehand. If you do, could you please provide the link to where i can download it. Much appreciated, thanks in advance. |

Wang Tao and Yan Sen from China used SP on backhand, but it would be hard to find their games.

jonny huang (cdn)uses short pips on both sides 96 olympics and also tt wonderful and wacky might have some of him and the other players.

Yeah, search ttlive.tv videos from the 2007 euro championships for Tan Ruiwu from Croatia. He had short pip on his backhand, but he just used it for blocking mainly from my recollection. He is very quick and covers most of the table with his inverted fh loop.

I think He Zhi Wen uses short pips too for hitting, but he is cpen. Someone posted an interesting video of him playing Chen Weixing the chopper. It was nice to see his tactics with the pips against heavy chopping.

I don't think many of the big name players use pips.

I'll try to find the video of PAPAGEORGIOU Konstantinos vs WALDNER JO match where Waldner lost. I'll upload it if I still have it in my hard drive. Papageorgiou uses TSP Spectol the last time I heard about him.

Wang Tao yes, but not yan sen. yan sen is a penholder with two inverted, the guy had crazy 3rd ball attacks back in the day, watch him vs waldner in the 1997 semi's. |

Again Papageorgiou and his mix partner have made another major upset beating Li Jia Wei and Gao Ning in doubles. I'll ask someone to upload it if he recorded it coz he was recording mix doubles matches.
