Which are differences between Stiga Magna and Stiga Mendo MP (hardness, control, speed)?
I will put rubber for f/h on BTY Primorac Off-. My current rubber is BTY Sriver L 2,1mm. Thanks |

stiga mp is harder than magna. Magna is spinnier than mp. I prefer magna but off course that is just my opinion.

Why dont you use the latest one Optimum MP. This is a much better rubber whether glued or not.

Hi guys, been a while. I hope you've all improved greatly since my last post. I've been using Magna 2.0 on both sides of a Stiga Clipper. I love it. It glues up very nicely, great loud chack, etc. The topsheet is stickier than Sriver but not as sticky as a 999. This combo is good for me (approx. 1800 level) but most of my higher level friends prefer something more substantial on their forehands. Many use Mendo MP on the forehand, in Max, and something softer on the backhand, in 2.0. Hope this helps, Marco

I tried both (max.) fast+spinny, but both are hard to control above the table (too quick rebound) + hard against defenders. |

I've played with both and found Mendo MP more suitable for me. I've used MP Max red on Fh for over a year. It's very fast rubber (surprisingly predictible for its speed) with medium hard sponge and relatively low throw. IMO, Mendo MP is better suited for fast allround offensive game, while Magna is more of a looper's/counter looper's rubber due to the high spin it generates. |
