Will the next World Champion use RPH with smooth rubber loops from RPH backhand like Xu Xin  but also mix it up with powerful traditional punch blocks using traditional backhand blocks with short pips on forehand (used on backhand side)  & twiddle & use smooth rubber forehand loops ?

Did Liu Guoliang ever do regular backhand blocks using pips on forehand (old style penhold). Did not seem that way but I may not have seen enough of his videos

Yes he didm he did RPB blocking twiddiling the raquets using pips for BH  in some point

 I did not mean new type RPB blocking with pips on backhand. I meant old traditional type penholder blocking with pips on your forehand side but backhandside  block is executed with pips on forehand such as Zhuang Zedong or Jiang Jiliang or He Shiwen or Kim Ki Taek etc etc

He mostly used the tpb as default shot on bh
