    Posted: 12/05/2019 at 9:42am
Hi,

From the highest of authorities, I have been informed that the match results from the JOOLA North American Teams tournament will, upon resolution of inquiries and error correction, be submitted to the USATT for match rating calculation some time next week (the week of December 8th.)

Thanks.

I just noticed the ratings for NA Teams are processed!

TT idiom - Don't count your rating before the match.

wow I did a bit of stalking and among the 4 losses of nextlevel's (out of 14 matches), only one did not go 5 games, "just" 9,-10,9,9. It's written "warrior" all over.

Thanks for rating submission. I notice a player:

He has all wons and he increased 63 points. Why his rating is not adjusted? Tier 1 adjust happens if you rating increases from 51-74 points according USATT rating explanation.

I don't know if this is the case, but it's possible to gain less than 51 points in tier 1 but gain more than 50 points in the final step due to opponents who got adjusted in an earlier step.

When the rating gets adjusted is a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.

His final rating is 2169. You can check his record. He won 2176 3-0. Is it fair he is unadjusted?

The rating page only shows the final step of the algorithm. I quickly checked and discovered 3 of his opponents got adjusted. I estimate that he was +48 points in Pass 1, so he did not qualify for an adjustment.
