Most of my blades have FL handle.   Because store nearby always stock FL.   I only buy ST whenever they have one.

Blade : Just wood
FH : black rubber
BH : red rubber

Maybe the question to ask should be, type of handle preferred.
I prefer ST generally, but have perhaps equal number of FL.
It's more about how comfortable the bat feels in the hand.
Blade:
Darker Speed90
Rubber Fh and Bh DHS Hurricane 3, 39/38deg

Delusion is an asset

I prefer ST, but FL are the most used.

definitely FL (most popular), they are simply better for ATTACK type play, ST is better if you twiddle or play defense or simply you like ST as a preference, ST often offer thicker type handles which sometimes suit especially larger hands better.

I sell more straight than most because I've always gone out of my way to stock them.  Sometimes people who aren't really my regular customers come just to get a straight yinhe model.

That said, even I sell more flared at least 5 to 1.  I've notice on the cheaper blades it's like 10 to 1, but on the more expensive blades its more like 2-1 for flared.  I think I've found that as skill level goes up, so does likelihood of using straight.

Wavestone St with Illumina 1.9r, defender1.7b

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

I asked for a ST handle blade at a shop in Vietnam. They said no. Then went on to explain 99 percent of Vietnamese players don't want it, so they rarely stock it.
Current Setup: TBS FH T80/BH D80
Official USATT Rating 1815
Current estimated level: 1800-1900.

I've tried FL, ST, Dotec, and Anatomic. ST is my favorite and Anatomic is my second favorite.
