EXTRA MARGINS SHOULD BE DENIED !!

The rubber margins on some of the present rackets do look unduly obtrusive, perhaps 2 MM or even further.

I used to only tolerate 1 mm. Extra margins have to be trimmed down immediately. Yes.

Because the unfair advantage you get from having a rubber margin is....??????????????????????

Anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?  Bueller?

It is a good thing for many of us that umpires like Igor can only suck the enjoyment out of table tennis for poor souls thousands of miles away from most of us.  (Except I fear there may be others).  Yes.

I understand that rubber margin arouse suspicion that the rubbers have been treated.

However, I like to have my rubbers extended for 1 -  2 mm, because they act as cushion when my blade bumps the table.   I hate edge tape because it leaves hard to remove residue.

So, my point is, having rubbers extended for 1 - 2 mm does not always mean the rubbers have been treated.
