How about Andro Plasma470, Donic Coppa Jo Gold, Tibhar Nimbus etc. Because my friend tell me that Couga have only Black Sheet and he tell about Varites is faster than Couga too.

The fastest rubber without speed glue that I know are:

Juic Varites, Juic Couga, Tibhar Nimbus, Tibhar Torpedo, Nittaku Hammond X, Stiga Optimun MP, Joola Green Power Energy, BTY Bryce Power Sponge, Desto F1 Hard Sponge and Tango Titan.  One of those must be the fatstest.

Couga is number one in my book, followed by Optimum MP.
From what I have heard/read Yasaka V-Stage should perform on the same level.

Interesting that we would have this conversation and no one mention bryce. Two years ago a bunch of kids would have already swarmed thsi thread and said "bryce man - all the way! Bryce rocks! Yeah!"

Then we would have had a couple of people say "h2/3."

The name I keep hearing is varites. But there's different gears too. Like, catapult is very quick, you can get a 3/4 speed loop with very little effort. But it also tops quickly. Just one very quick gear. These tend to be softer but tensioned rubbers.

Then there's rubbers with hard sponges that feel slower in close but if you hit harder and harder the ball just goes faster and faster and never tops.

But if I had to pick one based on the sum of all my feedback I get, I'd have to go with varites.

Wavestone St with Illumina 1.9r, defender1.7b

Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

I think I need to update my input as well.  Bryce PowerSponge is faster and spinnier than Couga.  However, its speed and spin decline faster than Couga.  Bryce PS shrinks considerably within about 1 week.   SO.....Couga is the fastest stable rubber without speed glue.

Regarding regular Bryce, it absolutely needs glue to reach its true speed and spin potential -- and when at that point, it is absolutely great with soft feel and touch while it makes the ball just scream and hug the table.  I don't know a rubber that's better at doing this than Bryce.

There are other rubber sheets that without glue are more capable than Bryce is without glue.  In many respects perhaps no rubber matches the level that Bryce reachs when used with ample speed glue.   Interestingly, given the impending glue ban, this may never change since manufacturers are focused on getting the best built-in glue effect they can.
