Unforutnately, i don't have a coach. Here is the United States, not Asian country. Coaching is kinda expensive. I can't afford the coaching fee which is $50 for an hr.

For the people who have a coah. LUCK YOU. but you may not know how difficult to work on TT without a coach.

if your opponent is 1700, I think you are slightly better than him.

You have more room for improvement and definately has some potentials despite my early comments.

Its hard to judge from the play unless you know your opponent's rating.

sorry if you thought i was mean, i bet you can beat me easily... your service is what people in Singapore would call "action", like all those bouncing and rolling around in your hand for 10 seconds before tossing it high into the air and serving a really basic service.

in a recent poll service was rated as the most important stroke in tt. it provides ground from which you can launch your attacks.

when you serve from an extreme end of the table, you should direct your services off the corners or a fast down-d-line. as of now you do not vary your services in depth, width, speed or spin direction.

your opponent always seems to mish*t his return, which perhaps misleads you in thinking your serve is loaded with backspin. from what we see, that is not the case, continue to work on your service such that it is hard to tell which way it is spinning and vary the direction of the ball

your smashes are extremely inconsistent, work on it as well, do not pause after a smash, and always expect your opponent to be able to return it.

just a random question. i usually wear sports shorts for training. is there any rationale behind wearing long pants while playing, isit just to distinguish who is who? cos i find it inhibits your movement a little

At first I always wore long pants for sports. I didn't really think shorts would help movement that much. But you really do get more movement.

i dint know it costs so much to go for a tournament, few hundred is ok for a camera but just for a competition is scary

apparently the higher the better. 1k is for basic players who are able to execute consistent strokes. 2k should be pros who can execute consistent match-winning strokes. the world class players are almost 3k i think (correct me if im wrong, this is to the best of my knowledge)
