I believe this video provides incorrect information.

2.2.1 The net assembly shall consist of the net, its suspension and the supporting posts, including the clamps attaching them to the table.

2.10.1.3 A player shall score a point if, after he or she has made a service or a return, the ball touches anything other than the net assembly before being struck by an opponent;

The net posts and clamps are not part of the table, as stated in the video. Rather, everything to do with the net assembly is functionally part of the "net" so the ball can contact any of this equipment and still be in play if the ball then comes down on the table, except on the service in which case a let will be called.

There is nothing restricting multiple touches on the net assembly, indeed often the ball can be seen to strike the net twice, or even roll along the top edge of the net.

The rules don't seem to be 100% clear on the ball contacting the net after it bounces on the table, but before it is struck. But I think there is a good case with 2.10.1.3 above, which directly excludes the net assembly from ending a point, that the point should continue. The player in yellow very well could have made a correct return.

Very interesting point! Thank you for the video.

The yellow one was too late to get the ball back. She lost the point at any rate.

Be happy.

Yes, the fixture climp is legally a part of net assembly, not table.

Yeah the hand thing is bad. I guess I would ask if they were OK and try to help. Maybe her coach could send for a tournament director

About episode 3: in wheelchair table tennis, this woud not be allowed. I can imagine serving rules for kids that mimic the wheelchair ones until the kids reach a certain height.
