hi guys, the other day i went to training, and my coach comes out and says that his SP rubber is banned...

joola ultra tango  [is this true?]

he also said that most of the dr neubaur rubbers hes been using has been banned as well [tornado etc]

what he asks is whats a legal SP rubber that might replace his banned rubbers?
he wants SP that has HORIZONTAL ALIGNMENT of pips
2.0mm or max

hes plays SP on fh, a flat driver, smasher, blocker, close to the table wall.

any ideas?

thanks guys, its been a while since i asked any related table tennis question Tongue

As Rokphish has said, the Joola Tango Ultra is legal. The Joola Amigo short pips might have been banned.

Unless he prefers short pips only, the new TSP long pips called TSP Curl P-H is a very good defense + attack rubber with knuckle ball effect. It is less prone to oncoming spin.

Some chinese topsheet like Globe 889, RITC 802 on a japanese sponge is a good choice. 652 and 651 on the original sponge are also  great rubbers. I have tried Doubl Fish 820 on TSP sponge and it makes wonders.
