3Rd Annual Sandalwood Heights High School Singles and Doubles Tournament Date - Doubles - December 8th, 2011, starting at 8:30 am and runs the whole day.
Singles - December 15th, 2011, starting at 8:30 am and runs the whole day.
Both tournaments are double elimination format.
Location - Sandalwood Heights Secondary School (North East Brampton)
Open to any high school student, Note that the doubles teams, players must be from the same school. The doubles tournament will have boys doubles teams, girls doubles teams and mixed teams all competing against one another.
Cost - $5 per participant (thus $10 per doubles team)

One week away from the doubles tournaments. To date we have about 18 high school girls doubles teams and about 20 guys doubles teams.

The singles tournament is less than a week away. We are looking for some high school players from the GTA.

Have you contacted mytabletennisclub and Elite clubs in Mississauga - they both have quite a few juniors. CCTTA juniors might be too far away. Good luck JRS |

As of today, December 12, it looks like we will have over 32 girls in the singles draw, and over 64 boys in the their draw. We have players from The Woodlands SS, 1 from Rick Hansen, 1 from Glen Forest, maybe one from Streetsville SS, several from Harold Brathwaite, Heart Lake, Holy Name, John Fraser, Bronte College, Meadowvale and Sandalwood of course. The more the better, the bigger the better. One of my players has talked to Elite and we are trying to work with the OTTA to make things bigger and better in the future. Last year the winner of the boys event came from Bay View in Toronto. We did have a few schools from Toronto last year, but they have yet to respond this year.
