Hello guys, we have a small table tennis academy in the neighborhood, but these times of pandemic and crisis are leading us almost to close because the balls are scarce and we have empty stores. A small donation of balls would be possible to keep us alive, thanks for reading.

We live in a small town in eastern Cuba, I had a concrete table built, and I have verified that table tennis is an extremely fun sport, and that it attracts crowds of boys, I really want to continue with this project because Table tennis is my life, but we are facing a shortage of balls, and in order not to stop this beautiful project I have started writing to friends and anyone who wants to help. (thans google for translate) if you want any address I will post it.

We have an excellent clima, we have an outdoor table (concrete built LOL), but we can play almost everyday if we had enough balls, the table is probably unique in town, lot of boys eager to play. I had removed a concrete floor to expand balls life, I want to cover the floor with rammed sand.

Hi,

Not until I started coaching full time in Ecuador did I see a Cuban player.  I thought "Wow, a Cuban player."  It was Andy Pereira.

It's easy to remember Andy Pereira!

Thanks.

Should I assume that everyone is supposed to know who Andy Pereira is, even people who never coached in Ecuador?

celluloid would be better for the concrete type of table and it is sad because I know a lot of guys who destroy own old balls (which was great for me to be honest)

Thank you for the support !
I will have a happier new year !
Andy Pereira is still our main player, of course I am on only a very entuthiastic amateur, always in the seek of the talent in the neighbourdhood, it is very difficult to teach table tennis, as the senior player I try to do so, but is not easy to transmit habilities to the kids, but I hope they improve a bit everyday. That picture from yesterday, I only admit 4 kids, to keep higienic meassures. Sorry for my english.

Yes, celluloid balls are very tough, even the kids that use to smash frequently, withstand it.

Finally !!!, I would like to express the immense satisfaction that we received an excellent donation from some helping hands in this forum, especially thanks to cole_ely who never gave up despite the difficulties, and to stiltt and posters BES for contribuition. Now we have enough balls, rubbers, blades, and a net and post like we never dreamed of! Thank you, it is invaluable to us!

Table tennis is not an outdoor sport, anyway. Church basement is the most used place to play the game in USA.
