WLQ's recent loss at the Asia-Europe All Stars would likely affect his chance of making the team for Moscow.

Any predictions who will grab the last 2 spots for Moscow (for Men)?
Who do you want to see grabbing these last 2 spots?
(The answers to the 2 questions can be different.)

They need experience in big tournaments so they can learn to play under the international pressure against new people they don't know well. Wang Liqin and Ma Lin are getting old, they can't stick around forever, the youngsters have to step up and a team championship is the best place to do it at, even if one of them fails hard at it, the others are still almost unbeatable.

the only big tournament is the worlds they have to play it unless liu has time machine to take xx and zjk to 2 olympic games and get back to play moscow

Agree.

In the world of professional TT, older players must step down to make room for the younger players when the right timing has come. Audiences love to see new faces and new talents too.

Between the first and second trials there was a tournament of the No 9 - No 16 of CNT , Lei Zhenhua  won and took XuXin's place. LGL told CCTV5 that Lei Zhenhua won easily.
Before the second and third trials there was a tournament of the No 10 - 17 of CNT , Li Ping won and took Zhang Jike's place. Somebody said Li Ping won very difficultly, A player named Zhang Chao made him a lot of trouble.

Now many many Chinese think there should be five rounds "Moscow Express".  Look at Wang Hao, Ma Lin, Wang Liqin, all hope LGL's taking care, all like SH*T.

Well, from the first, second and third trial, the one who played very well but lost narrowly is Hao Shuai. Hope he got a chance to become world champion also as he is the only one of those veterans who never won anything major. Another spot should go to Wang Hao because he is relatively young and will be there in 2012 Olympics but not WLQ and ML, I think.

He only played one match, and it wasn't televised (good for him...).

I always like to watch his game either if he was winning or losing.. sure I wish that he wins most of the time being his fan, but watching him play and observing his technique is very nice and special.

Yes, Chen Qi has played well but I don't think he will be in.  He is young and he will have another opportunity in the future.
I think the remaining 2 spots will be given to Wang LQ and Ma Lin; this will be their last world team championship.  This is a reward for what they have done for Chinese TT.  Wang Hao? -not in good or acceptable condition so Wang Hao will be left behind.  This is my prediction.
It is good and beneficial to have at least one veteran on the team.
