Very wise move by the victim and her parents. More bad news for the defendant, this likely means they are prepared to pursue him in civil court as well.

alleged victim. We do not choose a side. We can only hope for a final decision that reflects reality as close as possible.

A somewhat confusing update. A continuance of the trial was granted, which could mean any number of things, and the bond was also returned.

I will try and make another post to consolidate my reasoning in one place since the last thread was lost. But to just say for now, it isn't stupidity to note a connection between intense sexual repression of the kind that Dubina's religion teaches and sexual crimes or obsessions. It's the same phenomenon where the loudest most aggressive detractors of homosexuality are often the same ones to be found the following evening in a hotel room with a young boy.

Repression and prohibition have a tendency to breed fascination and pleasure.
