He retired years ago. What I posted was his last equipment set up. Here he is against Chang Yan Shu of Taiwan. I have a lot of old japanese player's equipment.

I'd guess Rosewood V. Over the course of her career she has used Primorac, custom Korbel, custom Adolescen, Allround Evolution... all of which are 5 ply, not 7.

I've always wondered, why can't companies just make customized handles for pros who want unique grips? I know Butterfly has made special handles for some of their pros, as has Donic. So I wonder what's the story with Samsonov, does he really just prefer the feel of grip tape? |

Allround Evolution looks EXACTLY like the clipper, but based on the magazine Takkyu Oukoku's findings, she uses the AE.

he also done the one of timo boll. from flared to straight. here is a link where you can see a blade wich is exactly the same: |

No. The red plies from Clipper are much thicker than AE. Total thickness of Clipper is also more. Clipper:  Allround Evolution.  |

It seems the handles are from Tibhar blade. But the blade is some custom blade I think - kiri middle ply, carbon/carbon kevlar and hinoki outer plies. I had a blade with same construction before time and it was substitute to Kong Linghui special Carbon - the model K2 from yinhe. It is really fast and sensitive blade, same as primo carbon. About the grip - He often put it on his blades. The grip may be helps him to catch his racket more stronger and it has a big value about his attack's angle. A few pages back I posted a picture of her holding her blade. It was clearly Haifu rubber on the forehand (most likely dolphin), and the sponge on her backhand was the same color, so it might be Haifu Shark.
