This rubber combine with japan, germany and china techonology. With high friction tech from japan, speed like euro rubber and give powerful spin like china rubber.  It quite similar to Sriver G2 but hard sponge. Develop and produce in Japan and new logo Dawei. In Malaysia, just only 20 piece rubber we can get due limited production(from UE3 knowledge) . The cost is half of the Sriver G2 and its work very well with speed glue like haifu or others. have you heard that?

I would not take much notice of the description, they make every rubber sound awesome. It's one of their new rubbers, released only a few months ago. I have not yet tried it.

From the description . . .  i sounds like a 729 focus copy.  But I've never tied it as well.  I saw prices on ebay for 2 of them and they were a really good price.

I have two sheets in black.  One 2.2 and one max.  My red one didn't come in.  Looks nice.  Sponge looks the same as G3 sprung...kind of a yellow.  The stamp looks cool...kinda like harley davidson.  Looks pretty high quality to me.  But I'm probably not goign to cut it.  I have a lot of rubbers I'd like to try, but how many cut rubbers do I need laying around? :(

haggisv:

yes haggisv, this rubber truelly awesome but I wonder how long it can last like japan rubber. In my knowledge, the china rubber maybe can be in 2-3 months depends on user not japan rubber. However, we know this rubber make in japan, so we had to see it.

SDRamones
I don't think so this rubber similar to 729 Focus. The topsheet 729 Focus is sticky while Inspirit almost like Sriver G2 topsheet(very tension).

I seriously doubt it's made in Japan... where did you hear this?

In my experience chinese style rubber lasts longer than Japanese style rubber.

You can get it in thinner sponge but I didn't order any.

I think the max was around 64 uncut.

Is it reverse tensioned like the sprungfeder rubbers?

ie does it curl up when you take it out of the packet?

haggisv:

yup, it curl when i take out from packet. However, it more curl when you speed glue it due the sponge becoming more soft.

If it's reverse tensioned then with speed glue it should flatten out, not curl more.

Fair enough, so it's probably slightly reverse tensioned then.

just got this and its slightly tensioned. and the top sheet is on the softer side. I dont speed glue but I bet it would be a monster if you did. I didnt think the sponge was hard at all. mine is stamped at 42 and I would say its closer to 40. I would say its a little like a sriver g2 if I had to pick a expensive relative. really nice.

just try and decode mine! H42 T2.2 hahaha anyhow I still cant believe mine is stamped 42, its easily sub 40. anyhow, Im a big fan of dawei products(rubbers, not blades) I love their long pips and short pips. both are amazing. my main concern with all of dawei aforementioned products is quality. Iv found rubber density differences between my several sheets of 388D Iv gotten. my buddy has some 388B short pips that are seriously spinny and fast but between the two sheets he got there are some quality issues too. the sprungfuder series is always a super deal too. but if you get a good sheet the stuff is top notch and just as good as its $40 counterpars.

Yeah, it's always seemed like sprungfeder varies in its hardness and thickness. It was the case when I got it from hiqua, and it's the case now that I get it from china. It could be 2.2 or 2.3mm and hardness anywhere from 40-43. However, quality was always there and the markings seemed to be correct. So basically I just tell people what it is that I have and if they want something different we just choose some different rubber. But at least there's no surprises (except for me at times).
