Nice match, Xiang seems to be sleeping in the beginning of the match. Then realized too late that he needed to go more down the line and middle.

Zaman is very smart player! Nice match! Thanks for sharing, it was pleasure to see how you can win with brain too, not only with some loops

Amazing!
I was just poking around for a couple minutes on the USATT rankings page and I noticed that these 2 have played each other at least once before, at the Laguna Hills High School Open in March of this year. On that occasion, the result was a seemingly straightforward 3-0 (9,4,3) win for Zhang. Funny enough, Zaman lost 3-0 to a 2250 rated guy in that tournament! Must not have been his best day haha.

Not a big surprise for me. I think it just means Zaman is
training again. He was over 2600 last year when he was in Alameda, and he has beaten
players around 2700 level before.
Zaman always has a big forehand, how I can tell he is
training is the way he is hitting his backhand.
Keep in mind he opened his own club in the last year ( http://www.zamanttc.com/" rel="nofollow - http://www.zamanttc.com/ ), and
probably could not train much at the start.

The point at 1-3 in the first set is really funny. The touch was so good the scorer thought it was a let serve and not a short push winner that ended the point...

Amazing! Are they really 220+ apart? It is definitely a close game.
Molla used to be over 2600 as recently as last year.. He has a history of taking out 2700 players, so it's not really that much of a surprise. He is a amazing player!

I do not know much about Zaman but he seemed to play out of his skin!!! incredible. After some particularly good shots, Sean just stood there shaking his head not knowing what hit him. lol

At first I didn't get it, then I watched closer. It's amazing how the longer you watch it, the more you start to notice how and why.
Also, smart move by the camera man, 720p can go 120 fps if you get the right camera.

I've only watched two mins of this so far, but the iranian dude obstructs the view of the ball on every single serve, without a single exception. Unbelievable that this is allowed. I can't see one contact with the ball, his left forearm is always on the way. Even on the very high toss serves, he makes sure he keeps his left arm in front of the ball.

Zaman was coaching at Alameda for several years I had the chance to attend some of his camps and weekly group session. He moved to LA last year and now has his own club, an excellent coach and nice person to work with.
