hi,

i've been using bty primorac carbon cs for abt 1/2 a year. i'm mainly a looper n while i like its power n feel, it's a bit heavy for me, at 85g. it's also a bit thick at 7mm so control close to the net is not too good.

Is there a blade which's lighter (~75g) and thinner (<6mm) that's suitable for a looper?

btw, is an all-wood blade more suitable for RPB looper, or there is no difference?

Tks alot

yasaka extra is thin, light, and great for rpb. it'll be slower then your primorac carbon though. i love the darker 7p-2a, its around 75 grams and is 6.5 mm thick or something similar. pretty good for rpb, but the feel is awesome.

I think Avalox BT 550 may fit your bill....

Light and thin for RPB. However, it all depends on what you do with the RPB. If you're a RPB hitter, I would not suggest it.

Secondly, I would not say 85 is heavy at all - perhaps the rubbers you're using are too heavy?

tks ppl. i've bought a YE in china b4 but it seems quite weak, lack power. properly like what "they" say, there's a great difference in the different YE. The darker seems good although it's quite expensive.

the darker is much more powerful then the YE, and it is not that expensive. 64 dollars canadian excluding shipping. MUCH cheaper then your primorac carbon

the primorac blade is around 90grams to 95gms try one of the andro supercore kinetic series blades. the off kinetic or the carbo-aramid off these blades are between 80-85gms but feels lighterand they're also quite thin.
