Brother tiehwen the handle is slippery and the neck is wider and i have smaller hand so i can't have a good grip of the blade. But i love using it with  my short pips.

Waz wrong w/its handle? I personally find the ST round handle of Darker a bit slippery & annoying & hard to get a nice comfy grip, however the FL is nice and thick but still not as perfect as, say, FL of Photino or even ELCON of OSP.....

And this is my new darker tanpan hinoki 1-ply, which at 86gr is pretty good for my game and is the one I am using right now.

I guess the grains are not as tight as many hinoki fans would like, but the feeling is great, the weight is right and it plays sooo well... :)

Just because I saw a very similar POC blade above by tiehwen, I thought I should post photos of my POC 1-ply (made by ryno a year ago):

A lovely blade which plays amazingly well, but at 111gr a bit too heavy for my taste, especially since I like it with heavy chinese rubbers...

Mine does not have the red sticker on top of the handle, but on the left side it has a plastic insert, which I don't see in your picture.

Mine is the old model, which is why i guess there's no plastic insert on the handle. I dunno the weight yet, i guess i should find out Smile
