Another hit from Irkutt:

Joo Se Hyuk v Xu Xin at the 2014 Asian Games

IMHO, this is the best video of this match so far.

There are some other 2014 Asian Games videos of the teams we almost don't see in tt mass media. I think it will be interesting especially for the forum members from those countries to have a look at their compatriots withsanding tt monsters.

Hong Kong vs. Mongolia

CHEUNG Yuk (HKG) - ENKHBAT Lkhagvasuren (Mongolia) 1 match

WONG Chun Ting (HKG) - BATKHISHIG Bilegt (Mongolia) 2 match

LEUNG Chu Yan (HKG) - BATBAYAR Munkh Orgil (Mongolia) 3 match

A couple of matches of Fan Zhendong against Singapore (have not seen them here) where we could see a kind of intrigue in terms of the whole outcome of the meeting China and Singapore but....

Fan Zhendong vs. Chen Feng.

Fan Zhendong vs. Li Hu.

The rules have changed.  Zeio pointed this out a few times.  There will now be continental qualifiers before world ranking is used.  So whoever gets to the continental qualifiers for China will obviously be a favorite to qualify.  And who selects that?

LGL cannot determine who goes to Olympics. It is not up to him. There are very strict rules, and for the most part its based on world rankings in May previous year

nittakuball:

I also love to see the videos of FZD vs Chen Feng and FZD vs Li Hu.
But I doubt those videos exist.
(I hope I am wrong, and someone can find the videos.)

Ma long and ZJK are likely in the LGL's list for the next Olympic game. He would probably pick XX or FZD depending on their performance. XX and FZD are likely in the 2020 Olympic games. One of ML and ZJK might have retired at that time.

Fan Zhendong vs Xu Xin, they played 13 times. (According to Ratings Central.)

Fan won 4 times but lost 9 times against Xu Xin.

Well I saw him get into a dispute with XX, and Timo looked 100% sure. The referee asked XX if he admits the error, but XX denied. Timo was up 3:1, but lost that game, and ended up losing the match.

After the last point he refused to shake hands.

I saw a similar situation happen between XX and WLQ, and XX was on the wrong side of the call again. He won that game, but WLQ ended up winning 4:3 after highest drama.

Not an honest player this XX fella..

Yes. XX will be remembered as the last winner of celluloid era.

Does table tennis umpire need to pass any stringent eye sight and hearing test? Most are not young by the look. With today's technology I do believe it is needed to maintain fair play without any human error intervention. An international level game's outcome should never be relying on one's integrity or words.

I admire very much to see if XU Xin is good enough to gain a golden glory with hard plastic DHS as much as he did with celluloid mild-soft meterial.

The Ma Long Joo Sae Hyuk match was epic! I am a ML fan but I was rooting for JSH the whole time. My dad and I were glued to the screen. Much respect for JSH. :)
